Going the Extra Mile for NHS Tayside: How a Bespoke Video Helped Tackle Waste Contamination

Following our successful tender win with NHS Tayside, we identified an ongoing challenge that many large organisations face, waste contamination. Contaminated waste is a significant issue, both environmentally and financially, and NHS Tayside were keen to find a solution.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we did what we do best. We listened to the client and created something tailored specifically to their needs.

Our marketing team worked in collaboration with NHS Tayside to produce a bespoke, informative video that takes viewers on a journey, following NHS waste from the point of collection at their site all the way through to our Ecopark. The video was designed to give NHS Tayside staff a clear, visual understanding of where their waste goes and why getting it right at the source matters so much.

The video was rolled out through NHS Tayside's internal staff communications as an educational tool, helping to inform and engage employees across the organisation on best practice waste management and how to avoid contamination.

The results spoke for themselves. Since the video was shared internally, NHS Tayside recorded a dramatic decrease in waste contamination levels. A fantastic outcome for the environment, for the efficiency of waste processing, and for the NHS itself.

This project is a great example of how Binn Group goes beyond simply collecting and processing waste. We work closely with our clients to understand their specific challenges and develop creative, practical solutions that make a real difference.
