Jeanfield Swifts Girls FC will proudly sport Binn Group branding for the coming season following a sponsorship grant from the waste management company.

The donation provides the team with much-needed funds to buy new kit in the traditional Jeanfield Swifts colours of black and white. The kit will feature Binn Group’s familiar logo, spreading awareness of the company as the team travels to games and football festivals in Perth, Dundee and Fife.

Binn Group Commercial Manager, Jim Brown explains: “It’s fantastic to see so many young girls actively involved in sport, with the associated social, health and well-being benefits that brings. There are so many other influences on young people today, so being part of a team and taking part in sport should stand them in good stead for the future.”

“Binn Group is very proud of its active support for many local groups, charities and clubs through community engagement and sponsorship packages and it’s a real pleasure to help the girls at Jeanfield Swifts and be associated with them for the coming season.”

As a Community Club, Jeanfield Swifts seeks to provide footballing opportunities to players of all ages, from Soccer Schools for young boys and girls to senior squads for both men and women.

“With so many other draws on children’s time and attention nowadays it is really encouraging to see girls taking up sporting activities,” says Iwan Davies, Team Manager of the U11s. “Ladies football is on the up-and-up at the moment, and Jeanfield Swifts has a great structure giving players a continuous pathway through from Fun Fours to senior football. Some of these girls may go on to represent the club in the Ladies team one day, and who knows where that might lead them! We are incredibly grateful to Binn Group for agreeing to sponsor us this year and look forward to keeping them up-to-date on our progress.”
Jeanfield Swifts is a Community Club based in North Perth, serving its local communities with the opportunity to play football and socialise, as well as competing in the women’s SWFL Division 1 and men’s SJFA McBookies.com East Premier League. With teams for boys and girls from Soccer School to U17s (girls) and U19s (boys), the club provides a complete pathway for player development.
