Binn Group has been shortlisted in this year’s Fife Business Awards which take place this Thursday.
The company is among the finalists in the “Success Through Sustainability” category and will go head-to-head with Brand-Rex Ltd and Ivan Wood and Sons Ltd for the coveted title. Binn Group business manager Jim Brown expressed the company’s delight at reaching the finals of the leading Fife business awards.
“We know there are lots of very good businesses in Fife striving towards sustainability and protecting the environment and the competition for the title is really keen. To be shortlisted for this award makes us extremely proud. We all eagerly await the judges decision and announcement and to Thursday evening’s event itself.”
“The Success through Sustainability Award is sponsored by Green Business Fife and recognises businesses that can demonstrate clear links between improvements to their company performance (increased productivity, profitability etc) through sustainable and environmental processes and practices, or companies that have developed new business opportunities arising from emerging environmental technologies and practices.
The biennial Awards Ceremony will take place at the Rothes Halls, Glenrothes, where guests will be welcomed with a drinks reception followed by the Awards dinner hosted by Fred MacAulay.
